Baby Registry Is Up

With our friends asking us about our baby registry, we've finally "narrowed" it down to what we want (um...I mean need). :-) hahaha

For our dear friends and family, if you plan on purchasing a gift for us, please feel free to get whatever you like, which may or may not be in the registry list. We are pretty laid back on things, especially when it comes to gifts!! The registry list is just a guide of what we saw that caught our eyes :-).

Also note that for those interested in purchasing the Baby Bjorn for us, be sure that it is an XL or else Daddy won't be able to fit in one. :-) The one listed in Babies R Us doesn't have a size but the one on BabyCenter does.

Nursery Planning

We've decided that the jungle theme is still the way to go for us...but instead of the wallpaper, wallborders, we are going to paint our walls to be in the image of a lush green meadow and clear blue sky where the animals can roam free :-). Chhimi was able to find some wall stickers from a company in the U.K. for the main decoration pieces. Yes, we actually ordered things from another country because the selection in the U.S. was just sub-par compared in cuteness, quality, and price. Anxiously waiting for our nursery package to arrive so we can start the project! :-) hee hee

Shopping till we drop

This weekend Mommy & Daddy went shopping - I feel broke and I haven't even bought anything yet. First thing on the list was going to Home Depot to look for ideas for the baby room. Before we went there we have had plenty of talk about what we both liked or disliked. Most of the time, it was Daddy arguing about what he liked and wanted.

Pink was so out the window – at this point. I want my son’s room to be different and unique – ideas ranged from painting a coat of Magnetic Paint, to painting murals on the walls to the nursery. (Which is still on the list of things I am still thinking about?) I wanted to paint a different theme mural on each of the walls – I guess I want my son to be stimulated with the abundance of colors (Artsy side of Daddy Chhimi) – I wanted to paint my favorite childhood books (Like “Noddy” and it’s pronounced as you read it and not Naughty) or maybe my favorite comic “Asterix and Obelix.”

I think after looking at 10 different wallpaper themes – I think we are settling on an animal theme (Jungle to be precise) Just because I like animals – love monkeys – in fact Grandpa Tom – got a mean Monkey back home. So here are some prints we liked please help us choose one.
